A Mode is a mechanism for manually or automatically (with the use of Schedules) toggling on or off some functionality. That functionality could be a set of Smart Motion Events on your cameras, or the availability of a Shared Camera to your customers.
You can manually disable a Mode or you can pause for the remainder of this hour, this day or this week.
One or more Schedules can be associated with a Mode. They work in a logical “OR” fashion: if any schedule is active, then this Mode is active. Schedules can be individually enabled or disabled. You can read more about schedules here.
