Configure

These options control the speed and quality of the timelapse movie that Streamie will create.

Frame Skip Interval — Defines which input frames are included in the output movie. A value of 60 indicates that only every sixtieth input frame is included in the output movie,

Output Framerate — Defines the framerate of the output movie. A value of 30 indicates that the output movie is played at thirty frames per second.

Output Bitrate — Defines the quality of the output movie. A value of 5,000,000 indicates that the output movie will consume approximately 5Mbps.

When considering the first two options, if you use a frame skip interval of 60 and an output framerate that matches the input framerate, then the timelapse movie will play at 60x real time (one hour will play in one minute). Additionally, if your recordings are 30fps, and you use an output framerate of 60, then the timelapse movie will play at 120x (one hour will play in thirty seconds).

Output Options

Share Sheet — Once the timelapse movie is completed, the share sheet will appear, allowing you to text, email or save this movie.

Photo Album — Once the timelapse movie is completed, the movie will be stored in an iCloud Photo Album which you can access using the Photos app.

Output Servers

Streamie can also save your timelapse movie directly to one (or more) of your file servers. Select a file server to activate it. When the timelapse movie is complete, it will be saved to each of the selected file servers. The movie is saved to the root directory of the file server with the name <Camera Name> <Timestamp>.m4v.
