The Options screen controls account-level settings. Changes made here will impact all of your Streamie devices.
Event Notifications
You can set up event to occur when motion is detected on a camera and for other reasons. This “master switch” can disable those notifications from being pushed to your devices.
App Updates
Occasionally, usually not more than once a month, you may receive a new alert in Streamie about an app update. This switch will disable that alert.
Transcode for Remote Streaming
If you’re away from home and accessing your cameras remotely, transcoding will reduce the quality of the video stream to allow you to access the cameras on less-than-ideal network situations. If this option is disabled then the video is sent in its original straight-from-the-camera quality, which your internet upstream may not be adequate to support.
