A Mode Schedule is defined as a begin and end time, and a set of days of the week. For instance, 8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri.
A schedule with time range of 00:00 - 23:59 is treated as “all day”. Using that time range and selecting Mon, Tue and Wed would mean the schedule begins on Monday at midnight (00:00) and runs continuously through Tuesday and ends at the last minute on Wednesday (23:59).
Inversion takes a schedule and treats it as the exact opposite. For instance, if you want a schedule to apply when your business is closed, start by defining when your business is open (8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri) and toggle the Type from Regular to Inverted. Now the schedule applies to all of the hours your business is closed.
All times are displayed in 24-hour time. When entering a time, you can either enter it in 24-hour time (HH:MM) or in 12-hour time (HH:MM AM/PM). Internally, times are expressed as seconds-since-midnight, although we only support minute-level granularity in the user interface.
